can you have Star Polyps or mushrooms in a tank with regular lighting?
i have a 55 gallon tank with two 80 watt light bulbs on each side of the tank.
I would say you could def. keep mushrooms in that low of lighting however they will prob. not grow very quickly. star polyps need a little more lighting than mushrooms but if kept high in the aquarium you could prob. keep them alive but again they will grow slower.
when coral are happy they are big and beautiful when their needs are just barely met they are not as pretty. but they will survive.
