Stiff Fairway

cutting down fairway woods?
im about a 10 handicap and for some reason i just dont like hitting fairway woods...i know im not the only one. i play a few hybrids instead of woods however - id like to carry a 3 wood and 5 wood and not play as many hybrids.
would cutting down fairway woods help me with my confidence at adress? this is just a wild idea...what are you opinions?
currently in my bag i'm playing:
- ping g15 driver 10.5 degree stiff flex
- 19 degree and 21 degree taylormade rescue tp stiff flex for both
- ping i15 irons 5-pw - standard lie
- 52,56,60 degree ping tour wedges
any advice would be awsome!
If you hit the hybrids better, why worry? If you have a hybrid and a FW of similar loft, you'll lose a small bit of distance (due to the hybrid's shorter shaft), but gain more accuracy. They even make for good back-up drivers.
As the above kind of implies, if you cut down the FW it won't do you any more good than the hybrids you're currently using.
There is one compromise you could make: buy an Adams FW-hybrid. It has a shorter shaft, like a hybrid; but it also has a big (and slightly boxy) head. I've never hit one myself, but it seems like an interesting option for someone on the fence.
